Self-driving firm Waymo says Austin, Texas would be the fourth metropolis it deploys its robotaxis to.
Waymo is owned by Alphabet and is among the main self-driving corporations. The corporate has been working to deploy its robotaxis, and at present operates in San Francisco, Metro Phoenix, and Los Angeles.
In accordance with The Verge, Waymo has been testing its robotaxis in Austin since March, however will quickly supply service in “a big portion of the town evening and day,” together with “the guts of downtown, Barton Hills, Riverside, East Austin, Hyde Park and extra.”
