Microsoft seems to have beat Dropbox to the punch in the case of eliminating limitless cloud storage choices, doing so someday in July.

Dropbox made information final week when it introduced it was ending its limitless storage choice, citing widespread abuse by crypto miners. Based on TechRadar Professional, it seems Microsoft quietly made an identical transfer with its OneDrive storage between July 14 and July 28.

Beneath Microsoft’s new plans, all accounts are capped at 1 TB per person.

“In response to buyer demand, Microsoft has streamlined the buying course of for purchasers who use OneDrive for Enterprise standalone plans,” a spokesperson informed TechRadar Professional. “Clients presently on these plans will nonetheless have the ability to add seats and renew their license.”
