Epic has laid off roughly half of Bandcamp Each day workers after promoting the remainder of the platform to Songtradr.
In keeping with the San Francisco Chronicle, Epic introduced it was promoting its Bandcamp music distribution service to Songtradr in late September. On the time, Songtradr mentioned it could not be taking up all Bandcamp staff as a part of the deal.
The outlet experiences that Epic has laid off roughly half of the remaining Bandcamp Each day workers, the group that includes the editorial arm of Bandcamp. The information was confirmed by a number of posts on X from Bandcamp Each day workers.

about half the corporate was laid off at this time. a few of the most unimaginable folks i’ve ever labored with, together with two of my superb editorial colleagues @diamonde and @atoosamoinzadeh and a lot of the unimaginable help workers amongst many others. it is a loss, no two methods about it
